Founder, The Chapel Group

Wayne is the founder of The Chapel Group.  A consulting company, created in 2015 to help utilities use energy data to increase value to customers and deliver business growth.

Wayne's belief is simple: There is increasing consumer adoption of behind-the-meter technologies such as rooftop solar, electric vehicles, battery storage, and the connected home. Consumers are on this journey regardless of what their utility providers do. Wayne believes that if he can help utilities leverage energy data and focus more on the demand side, they can deliver services and products that position them at the heart of what is an inevitable transformation to a sustainable way of living.

Wayne’s subject matter expertise comes from almost 20 years in the Utility industry across Asia.  In that time Wayne has been recognised for his innovation and vision by Metering & Smart Energy International.

Wayne led SE Asia’s first end to end smart metering and demand response program that resulted in a twenty percent reduction in peak demand and went on to win a series of awards across the region.

Wayne is a father, a guest lecturer at the Asian Institute of Technology, a blogger and writer for many of the leading industry magazines.  He is a sought-after speaker at regional energy conferences and author of the upcoming book, ‘The Digital Utility’.
